The fight for normalcy
The world can is a place surrounded by danger. Left, right, in front, and behind you there lies danger. Stressors are mined around yours and my path to existence. It’s not your fault…this is the path we were born into.
It wasn’t always like this. Once upon a time the world was a place of restoration, rest, balance, and rebirth. Fast forward to 2025 it seems like it is restlessness, over-alerted, tipped to the side of chaos, and constantly dying but slow enough so that we live on.
No, the world doesn’t need to be sunshine and rainbows. We, as humans, need to feel sad, anger, nervousness, and scared. The difference is this should be in balance with the joy, boredom, happiness, laughter, alertness, focus, and silliness.
When you are constantly in a endangered state it is nearly impossible to engage with life the way it is. Your body will be zero-d in and scanning for danger.
Where does this danger come from?
1. Mechanical Stress
2. Emotional Stress
3. Chemical Stress
You see this danger can be seen or unseen. It can be your screaming kids in the car or it can be an excessive thoracic kyphosis. And the best part it’s all tied together. If you had a more stable mechanical structure you would have a greater capacity to handle a large range of emotions instead of reacting.
Figure 1
Think of this jar….
This jar represents your ability to handle stress (your capacity).
When you are experiencing stressors from these 3 areas of life, it can fill up fast. It doesn’t matter where it comes from and you may not be aware of it but it will fill up knowingly or unknowingly.
If you have poor tension in your Musculo-fascial structure and have excessive kypho-lordosis. You have zero core tension and unstable hips you will probably feel some level of anxiety. With this anxiety this makes you prone to overthink and experience real anxiety about tasks and events. This is not because of the little anxieties but how the jar is almost all the way full! Then add in the chemical stressors of polyunsaturated fats, heavy metals, and poor diet. No your over the top. When your kids yell at you or your boss says your project wasn’t very good…now you’ve overfilled the jar and start to experience extreme emotions, anxiety and depression. Poor sleep is the next step in this process. Sickness and a forced rest ultimately comes next until you reach chronic disease, physical pain, etc. You see where I am going with this.
My biggest position and most important is probably mechanical positioning of your body. Mechanotransduction is the ability for your body to sense its position in space and relay that information back to the brain. If mechanotransduction does not relay good positioning. Your body starts to tighten, create restrictions, produce cortisol, trying to get out of it. Cortisol excessively causes weight gain, anxiety, depression, that wired and tired feeling. It ultimately leads to lots of problems down the road. Fix the cortisol fix and rewire your emotional state you’ll be better off for a bit but ultimately until you fix your mechanical positioning then no progress can be made because when life becomes too much again (and we all know it will one day) it will come right back.
Actionables:
1. Mechanical Stress
MFR Release 1 hour a day for 5 weeks, 2-3x per week for maintenance.
Corrective exercises and increasing core pressure
Dynamic exercises to input into nervous system.
More freedom to create better gait mechanics.
2. Emotional Stress
Meditation going into the nothing-ness state.
Learn how to unwire old behaviors that you intentionally want to change.
Learn how to rewire new behaviors you’d like to adapt.
Your thoughts and emotions create you. Change your thoughts, change your emotions, change you and become who you want to become. Do not be a slave to your emotional patterns. They can be changed. Your reactions can be changed. Your view of the world can be changed. How the world perceives you can be changed.
Use Heart math to regulate this system.
3. Chemical Stress
Systemic Enzymes to dissolve embolisms, protein buildups, and fight against free radicals
Zeolite to detox heavy metals
High dose melatonin to fight against metabolic stress, restoration, and release more heavy metals.
L-Theanine, L-leucine, and L-glycine . To regulate stress and maintain muscle.
High Dose Vit E to regulate against free radicals and detox PUFAs
A foundation of a solid diet from a standpoint of metabolism.
Increase metabolism using sugar, fruit, syrup, honey, no complex carbs.
Use collagen protein and gelatin gummies.
